My husband took me to the Chiang Mai University campus for a jog when we used to live in Thailand sometime in 2018. Toward the end of our jog, we saw a sparrow on the ground. I noticed that it didn't fly away when we got closer to this little fellow. Usually, birds fly away when you get closer. It turned out that this sparrow couldn't fly because it was injured. We were concerned about leaving this little guy there on the ground since the university campus had stray dogs. There were no trees nearby where we could put the bird on a tree- only concrete buildings. So we decided to take it home and figure out what to do after.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSadly, once we got home, the sparrow crossed the rainbow bridge two hours later. Although it didn't make it, it made me think that the sparrow spent the last moment in safety at two human's house who wanted to ensure it would be in good care.
